Dog fouling in the village

The Community Council has had complaints about dog fouling. It is an offence carrying an £80 fine, and a cause of toxocariasis in children. Report it to the Community Safety Team on 03033 333000. Free bags are available at Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright libraries.

Link Park volunteers

The Link Park is at the heart of the village, behind the village shop, and is a great place for a picnic. It is run by volunteers who meet every Tuesday morning — if you fancy helping out with a spot of weeding, come along.
