Report a problem

Seen something the village should know about — a road under water, a tree down, a burst main? Tell us here and a volunteer will look at it.

This is not an emergency line. If anybody is in danger, ring 999.

A sentence is plenty. “The shore road is under water past the bridge.”

A road, a building, a corner — whatever you would say to somebody on the phone.

Optional. It is only shown to the volunteers who look at this, never on the site.

Optional, and the most useful thing on this form — somebody can check with you in a minute instead of driving out to look.

A photograph, if you can

Optional, and worth a great deal — a photograph tells somebody whether to put a warning on the site far faster than a description does.

Taking one now also lets us see exactly where it is, which one from your gallery usually cannot.

Photographs or a short video, up to 32 MB — a phone video of more than a few seconds will usually be too big, and a photograph is nearly always enough. Location information is removed from photographs automatically. It cannot be removed from a video, so please do not send one if that matters to you.

If your photograph records where it was taken, a volunteer may show that spot on the village map while the notice is up — roughly, to about ten metres. Tell us in the message if you would rather they did not.
