Dog fouling in the village

The Community Council has had complaints about dog fouling. It is an offence carrying an £80 fine, and a cause of toxocariasis in children. Report it to the Community Safety Team on 03033 333000. Free bags are available at Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright libraries.

Nothing to book — just come along.

Bring your bike and our trained mechanics will walk you through how to perform repairs, cleaning and servicing. There is also a small fleet of e-bikes and e-cargo bikes to hire, at very reasonable rates for local residents.
